I‘m such a lucky girl, that I had the chance to go back to Stockholm, after I‘ve been there a few weeks ago for Midsommar. But this time I went to Sweden for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, well at least I thought so. I don't know why but somehow this trip turned into a food week. That is why I decided to introduce you to my very personal food guide, packed with my favorite dining & wining, breakfast & sweet tooth places, I newly discovered, and the spots, that I always go back to everytime I‘m in town.
Surprise, surprise I gained at leat 5 pounds while I was in Stockholm, so I know what I'm talking about when I tell you guys that Sweden is like food heaven to me. I ate a lot! Only for the reason, to make you guys happy with this kick ass food guide.
We, me and my buddy, food & fashion partner in crime Fabian Hart, started our culinary tour in the gorgeous Restaurant Riche. We were eating swedish crayfish, toast with creamed chanterelles and the classic Toast Skagen with Kalix vendance roe. Oh my, what a kick off! So simple but most def delicious.
Only a few hours later, after shopping at ACNE we decided to check out the restaurant, B.A.R.. directed by award-winning chefs Henrik Norström and Peter Johansson. We ended up having more smoked crayfish, fresh lobster and bouzigues oysters. It was heavenly good!During our visit we stayed in the very charming & eco friendlyHotel Skeppsholmenand of course we didn‘t missed the chance to try the food here. The breakfast was already so good that I had quite high expectations.
Lucky us, we had the best weather ever, so we enjoyed our lunch on the sunny terrace next to the water.
I had the smoked cod roe with red onion, chives and sour cream. I couldn‘t ask for more, that‘s how good it was!
You will find more awesome food spots in my food guide below. I really hope you will enjoy those places as much as I did. Happy travelling to Stockholm everyone!
